Handle the service work around every account

Calls, application documents and transaction exceptions often arrive in separate queues.

KOVA can be configured to work with these inputs: authorised call recordings, account-service records, application inventories and transaction events.

What the AI looks for

Classify requests, identify incomplete applications and surface transaction patterns that need investigation.

What happens next

Route a service case, prepare a document request or assemble an analyst's investigation queue.

What SOS AI connects and configures

Bank-approved interfaces, caller verification, account entitlements and separately validated risk models.

KOVA runs the selected models locally. SOS AI combines the required model software, data connections and approved application tools around the job. Cameras, sensors, telephony and specialist applications are integrated where the workflow calls for them; they are not assumed to be present in every installation.

How to judge the result

Credit decisions and funds movement require bank authorisation; measure routing accuracy and false-positive investigation load.

Where KOVA fits into a banking day

Banking work moves between conversations and records. A relationship manager needs the commitments from the last meeting. A lending team needs to know which application documents are still missing. A service colleague needs the current procedure, not an answer based on an obsolete manual. Each job involves finding the right information before someone can act.

SOS AI’s KOVA is a physical AI box intended to run models locally. For a banking deployment, the starting point is an approved document collection: relationship notes, product guidance or a lending checklist. With document retrieval configured, staff could ask questions and prepare drafts without sending those records to an external model endpoint. KOVA would support existing processes; it would not become the system of record for accounts or lending decisions.

A better handover before the client arrives

Consider a business owner who has discussed a facility renewal with one colleague and a cash-management question with another. A meeting brief should separate the conversations, identify what was actually promised and leave a space for unanswered questions. Combining every note into a smooth narrative risks turning a tentative request into an apparent commitment.

A KOVA workflow could produce a dated chronology, an outstanding-action list and links back to the selected notes. The relationship manager could check the brief against the original correspondence. The value is in arriving prepared and avoiding repeated questions—not in letting the model infer the client’s intentions or recommend a product.

Keep the lending file moving

Document chasing is a practical target for local AI. Staff could compare the inventory of submitted borrower records with the lender’s current checklist, then prepare a consolidated request for missing items. A record marked “received” still needs to be distinguished from one that has been reviewed and accepted. Neither label should be inferred from the presence of a PDF.

For Vancouver property files, the surrounding paperwork can include strata records and municipal property information. Keep the lot identifier, document date and purpose of the request attached to the file. The City provides a property-information and tax-certificate service; staff should obtain the appropriate official record rather than ask a model to estimate a tax position.

Private processing, with banking controls around it

Running the model locally changes the route taken by a prompt and its supporting documents. It does not decide which employee may see a commercial borrower’s records, a private-banking relationship or an internal investigation. Those boundaries need to be enforced in the application and tested using accounts with different permissions.

A bank evaluating KOVA should examine document imports, search indexes, prompts, stored conversations, backups, support access and optional connectors. Account changes, payments, loan approvals and customer messages should remain in the bank’s authorised systems and approval processes. An appliance is not a compliance certificate.

Measure the work that matters

Choose a completed client handover, a document-heavy lending file and a policy question with a known answer. Compare the existing process with the proposed workflow. Record how long staff spend finding sources, how many corrections they make and whether the result omits an unresolved issue. A shorter draft is not a saving if a reviewer must reconstruct the file to trust it.

SOS AI can use that evidence to scope the machine, local model and document setup. File formats, collection size and concurrent users need testing before capacity commitments are made. The profession pages below explore the people who handle those records.
